A resting place built on community

For generations, dharamshalas have given travellers a safe bed and a quiet room. Ours does that in Bhuj, on Dadavadi Road.

What is a dharamshala?

A dharamshala is a rest house for pilgrims and travellers, traditionally maintained by a religious community or trust at modest rates. The idea is hospitality as a duty: no one should be left without a clean place to sleep when they are far from home.

Sheth Dosabhai Lalchand Dharamshala follows that tradition in Bhuj, the old capital of Kutch. It is managed by Shree Visha Oswal Jain Gurjar Gnati, a registered community trust (Reg. No. E/22-2437), and welcomes Jain families, pilgrims and other respectful travellers.
